New 16 September 2022: Parcels and mail with destination Thailand will experience delays due to floods as a consequence of heavy rainfall. The impacted postcodes are 10xxx, 11xxx, 12xxx, 13xxx, 21xxx, 24xxx, 25xxx, 26xxx, 34xxx, 40xxx, 42xxx, 61xxx and 72xxx.

New 24 March 2022: Issues due to flooding in postal zones have been resolved.

New 2 March 2022: Continuing rain in the southern part of Thailand has caused floods in the provinces of Songkhla, Pattani and Narathiwat (postcodes 90210, 94XXX and 96XXX), causing delays.

Resolved 30 December: Destination Thailand has recovered from the recent severe weather conditions.

Update 26 October: The flooding in Thailand is no longer affecting deliveries in the following postal code areas: 15xxx, 21xxx, 24xxx, 32xxx, 33xxx, 34xxx, 35xxx, 37xxx, 42xxx, 62xxx, 63xxx, 64xxx, 67xxx, However, the following postal code areas are still affected by the flooding, which may cause delays in operations and delivery of all types of shipments: 10130 11xxx, 12xxx, 13xxx, 14xxx, 16xxx, 18xxx 23xxx, 25xxx 30xxx, 36xxx 40xxx, 44xxx 60xxx, 61xxx, 65xxx, 66xxx 72xxx, 73xxx

Update 7 October: Due to a tropical storm, there have been floods in northern, north-eastern and central parts of Thailand. Delays are expected in the following zipcode areas: 13xxx, 14xxx, 15xxx, 16xxx 21xxx, 24xxx, 25xxx 30xxx, 32xxx, 33xxx, 34xxx, 36xxx, 37xxx 40xxx, 42xxx 60xxx, 61xxx, 62xxx, 63xxx, 64xxx, 65xxx, 66xxx, 67xxx 72xxx.

New 16 September: Mail and parcels with destination Sardinia, Italy will be delayed due to a strike by port personnel from Friday the 16th to Thursday the 22nd of September.

New 10 May: Mail and parcels with the area of Varese (Italy) as destination are experiencing delays due to an operational issue at Poste Italiane. The following postal codes are affected: 21100, 21010 up to 21062 and 21100.

New 24 March: IT tracking issues have been resolved.

New 21 March: Mail and Parcels with destination Sardinia (Italy) are confronted with delays due to unrest at the ports. The situation is now back to normal again. It will still take some time to work away the backlogs that were created due to the unrest. Affected zip codes are 07010-07100, 08010-08100, 09010-09170.

New 17 January: Postal parcels and packets to Italy are experiencing delays due to an earlier IT issue at Poste Italiane for customs clearing during week 48, 49 and 50. Initially this related to non-EU shipments only, but unfortunately also some EU shipments from that period are affected. The delayed shipments will be processed in the coming weeks. Parcels shipped via non-postal / commercial routes are not affected.

Update 21 December: Delays in transit times due to customs IT difficulties at Poste Italiane for shipments coming from a non-EU origin to Italy.

New 15 December: Delays in transit times in Italy due to a planned national strike on Thursday the 16th of December.

Update 23 November: Due to the effects of severe weather conditions in Sicily, Poste Italiane experienced a delay between the 18th and 23rd of November. Problems are now solved.

Update 18 November: Due to IT issues with customs, Poste Italiane is experiencing a delay for non EU items.

Update 2 November: Bad weather conditions in the eastern part of Sicily have led to extensive floods. A state of emergency has been declared. As a result delivery operations throughout the island (postcodes 9****) are disrupted. Poste Italiane has declared a situation of force majeure. Updates will follow.

Update 16 July: Uncleared packets and parcels originating from non-EU countries can experience delays of up to 14 days due to data processing issues between customs and the local carrier.

Update 15 June: The workers union 'Cobas' has called for a nation-wide logistical strike to take place Friday the 18th of June in Italy. Additional delays of 1-2 days can be expected for all products to this destination on top of earlier communicated delays related to the Covid-19 restrictions.

Update 4 May: Poste Italiane has informed us that they temporarily cannot guarantee collections and deliveries for the province of Brescia, due to operational delays caused by unforeseeable and extraordinary issues. This communication is published on the official Poste Italiane website, where further relevant updates will be stated.

Update 25 March: The workers union 'Cobas' has called for a nation-wide logistical strike to take place Friday the 26th of March in Italy. Additional delays of 1-2 days can be expected for all products to this destination on top of earlier communicated delays related to the Covid-19 restrictions and customs capacity.

Update 16 March: Poste Italiane is experiencing capacity issues at their customs warehouse due to very high, unexpected parcel volumes received from countries outside the EU. There are difficulties with storing and customs clearing of incoming parcel mail items from non-EU origins, due to this the transit times will be longer. Poste Italiane is doing the best they can to clear the backlog and to get the process under control again. Please take note that the delays are only affecting items coming from non-EU origins.

Update 4 March: The workers union 'Cobas' has called for a nation-wide logistical strike to take place Monday the 8th of March in Italy. Additional delays of 1-2 days can be expected for all products to this destination on top of earlier communicated delays related to the Covid-19 restrictions.

Update 4 March: We currently experience large delays for all our volumes towards Italy. This is caused by several issues. Due to intensive customs checks all products are delayed which can measure up to 28 days. Poste Italiane is working together with customs to improve the transit times.

Update 27 January: The workers union 'Cobas' has called for a nation-wide logistical strike to take place Friday the 29th of January in Italy. Additional delays of 1-2 days can be expected for all products to this destination on top of earlier communicated delays related to the Covid-19 restrictions.

Update 14 January: Poste Italiane is unable to promise their usual service of delivery to the following postal code areas, in order to minimise the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19): Messina - 98100, San Fratello - 98075, Castel di Judica - 95040, Ramacca - 95040, Gela - 93012, Milena - 93010, Villarosa - 94010, Ravanusa - 92029, Capizzi - 98031, Santa Flavia – 90017

New 16 September: Mail and parcels with destination New Zealand will be delayed due to a National Day of Mourning to commemorate the life of Queen Elizabeth II Friday on Monday the 26th of September.

New 24 August: Mail and parcels with destination New Zealand are experiencing delays in delivery due to technical issues at New Zealand Post. The delay also affects transit times to the Cook Islands, Kiribati, Nauru, Niue, Pitcairn Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Wallis & Futuna and Samoa.

New 10 May: Mail and parcels with destination New Zealand are experiencing delays due to limited air capacity. Service to Nauru was suspended, but is resolved now.

United Kingdom (GB)

New 13 September: Parcels and mail with destination United Kingdom will experience delays due to planned strikes at Royal Mail on Friday the 30th of September and Saturday the 1st of October. Letters will not be delivered and deliveries will not be accepted on those days.

New 13 September: Mail and parcels with destination United Kingdom will be delayed due to the bank holiday for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth on Monday the 19th of September.

New 10 August Mail and parcels with destination the United Kingdom are expected to be delayed due to planned strikes at Royal Mail on the following dates: Friday the 26th of August, Wednesday the 31st of August, Thursday the 8th of September and Friday the 9th of September.

New 14 July: Between the 15th and 22nd of July possible and limited delays are expected for letters and parcels towards the United Kingdom due to a planned strike at Royal Mail. The vast majority of letters and parcels are not expected to be affected.

New 1 June: Due to Queen Elizabeth’s platinum jubilee Thursday the second of June and Friday the third of June are bank holidays in the United Kingdom. Therefore we expect 3 days delays for mail to the United Kingdom and 1 day delay for parcels to the United Kingdom.

Resolved 1 February: Royal Mail is no longer facing delays due to earlier mentioned bank holidays.

New 5 January Shipments with destination UK are facing delays due to four bank holidays in the holiday period.
