Spring will continue preparing for all possible Brexit scenario’s

Brexit

On Thursday the 11th of April the European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom (UK) extended the Brexit deadline until the end of October. EU leaders and British Parliament have agreed to a "flexible extension" of the Brexit delay until Oct. 31st 2019.

The agreement also gives the UK an option to leave the EU earlier, if the Withdrawal Agreement (WA) is ratified by UK Parliament and the EU, at any point before October. In this case, the withdrawal will then take place on the first day of the following month.

In the event that the UK ratifies the WA, the official transition period will start on the first day of the next month. During this transition period a status quo would be in place where current trading arrangements between the EU and the UK would  continue. The EU and the UK would use this transition period to work on a future trade agreement together.
