What is the impact on sending mail and parcels to China?

The outbreak of the Covid-19 virus has a significant impact on postal services to China. Despite this situation, are doing our utmost to reduce any impact to our service. Please contact your account manager for the latest updates.

What is the impact on receiving mail and parcels from China?

At this moment we see airline capacity from Asia being reduced and economic development in China slowing down. Customers who are expecting mail and/or parcels from China should expect delays in delivery.

Is it safe to receive mail and parcels coming from China?

The World Health Organization (WHO) has confirmed: “Yes, it is safe. People receiving packages from China are not at risk of contracting the new coronavirus. From previous analysis, we know coronaviruses do not survive long on objects, such as letters or packages”. Please refer to the WHO fact sheet for more information.

The situation is evolving every day and we are following developments closely. We will continue to monitor any new updates WHO will make, to ensure our customers are well informed.
