Coronavirus - Spring continues to deliver inside and outside of Europe
PostNL representatives say the company is doing everything possible to keep routes open both inside and in and out of Europe. Cancelled flights are being replaced by alternative means of transport. Cargo flights or shipping by sea are implemented as needed, according to company spokespeople. If alternative transport for a destination cannot be found within a reasonable amount of time, this information is promptly communicated to customers and shared via www.spring-gds.com/support/faq/general/coronavirus
Bpost decided to temporarily cease delivery outside Europe, following postal companies in Spain, Romania, Norway and Sweden among others.
PostNL is already taking a number of measures to protect its personnel and customers against infection. Consumers no longer have to sign a scanner at pick up until further notice. Work is also being done to create more flexible, expanded daily delivery times to facilitate that employees can care for young children at home.
