Frequently asked questions

What is Direct Representation?

The representative (usually the customs broker) acts in the name and on behalf of another person (usually the importer or exporter of goods). In such a case the customs broker is transparent towards customs (customs debt). The importer or exporter of goods is the sole responsible. In order to act in the name and on behalf of another person, the representative will require to have a Direct Representative form being signed by the owner of the goods.

Please request more information to your local account manager who will provide you with the correct form to be signed.
