We are looking for a sharp Senior Commercial and Pricing Analyst to join our team. This could be your opportunity!

Challenges

  • Analyze and benchmark cost structures, routing options and market standards to support competitive and profitable pricing decisions
  • Develop and maintain cost- and routing models to optimize cost prices across customers, products, lanes, segments and weight breaks
  • Ensure pricing, cost and routing models are kept up to date with the latest operational, commercial and financial data
  • Create pricing models for different customer segments and commercial solutions, including scenario analyses to assess margin, revenue and cost impact
  • Prepare rate cards and pricing cases for customers, ensuring that proposed rates are accurate, timely and aligned with the approved pricing approach
  • Analyze and follow up on actual margin, cost and revenue performance to validate whether outcomes are in line with modelled assumptions and approved pricing decisions
  • Prepare and support the weekly commercial board meetings for topics within scope, including input preparation, scenario analysis, documentation of approved outcomes and communication to relevant stakeholders
  • Use data, customer, competitor and market analyses to advise sales and business development on actions that can improve pricing, margin or revenue performance
  • Act as point of contact for pricing quotations, rate card requests and margin-related questions from sales, finance and other stakeholders
  • Identify revenue potential, margin risks and cost optimization opportunities and translate these insights into clear recommendations for management and commercial stakeholders
  • Support strategic pricing initiatives, including pricing principles, margin guardrails, discount logic and segment-specific pricing policies
  • Monitor commercial performance through structured reporting on margin leakage, yield development, discount impact, revenue performance and cost-to-serve versus pricing assumptions
  • Support price increase and indexation processes by analyzing cost changes, supplier rate developments, fuel or other index impacts and customer-level pricing implications

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Finance and/or Economics
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a commercial pricing analyst or other relevant background
  • Experience in cross-border e-commerce, supply chain or e-commerce platforms is preferred
  • Significant experience with pricing models, cost modelling, margin analysis, rate cards and commercial business cases
  • Advanced Excel and modelling skills; experience with Power BI, SQL or similar analytics tools is a strong plus
  • Proficient in English
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy in pricing calculations, data validation, rate cards and margin follow-up
  • Business mind-set, flexible, and with can-do attitude
  • Good teamwork in a multi-cultural environment
  • Ability to align and agree with other departments/stakeholders on pricing policy goals
  • Ability to rapidly and efficiently structure data for decision making
  • Ability to work under pressure
